On July 21, 2020, District 5890 and the Rotary Club of Cinco Ranch presented a Rotary Foundation Disaster Response Grant in the amount of $25,000 to The Brookwood Community which provides an educational environment which "creates meaningful work, builds a sense of belonging and awakens genuine purpose in the lives of adults with disabilities". The funds from this grant will help Brookwood defray the cost of purchasing supplies to keep their citizens safe during this pandemic.
